The Office of Mission and 形成
The Office of Mission and 形成 at Belen Jesuit is entrusted with carrying on the daily mission of 天主教 formation for all faculty, 工作人员, 和学生. With Jesus Christ as the cornerstone, the Office carries out its mission inspired by the life and teachings of St. 伊格内修斯.
Our primary focus for each student is their 精神上的 and moral development. Stemming from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and participation in the communal and sacramental life of the Holy 天主教 Church, each student is prepared and inspired to pursue a life of 基督教 service in a variety of careers and vocations. In line with the tradition of 天主教 social teaching, we unapologetically promote and foster the sanctity of every human life.
Through the Office of Mission and 形成, students have opportunities to receive the Sacraments, engage in communal or personal prayer, attend retreats catered to their grade level, and engage in 基督教 service. All of our programs and events are aimed towards our one goal and end: to create disciples of Jesus Christ so that we may live our lives for His greater glory.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain. The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and 精神上的 discipline. In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty. The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow. 今天, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
